We set out upon a journey towards an unknown eminence. We call it Machoe Peachoe.

The ride/hike was very pleasant overall. The bushwhacking almost became a ten-rated ( scale of 1-10, 10 being almost impossible ) bush crash at times, but really only came to a 5.8 proposition at worst. Abundant canes of poison oak frequently whipped us mercilessly.
It was delightful!

We discovered the ravine was a "Lost World" and an apparent oasis, filled with ferns and carpeted with lush moss banks.

When we at last reached the forsaken ruins of Machoe Peachoe we had to ask ourselves, "What does it mean?". While we were lost for words, the canyon spoke volumes in the distant roar of waterfalls and cataracts from the ragged catacombs below.

In the crevices and crennelations we found a world untouched and pristine. Our tread was profanity; Our imprints trespass. And our tickets were punched.

In the end I would not recommend this journey. No don't go there, unless you have a valid ticket.

We were greeted by the first Lowland Shooting Stars of the year!
